Vijay (Sanjay Dutt) lives in a drought-hit village where there has not been any rainfall for the past three years. He decides to go to Mumbai and purchase tube wells that will bring water to his village. But upon reaching the city, he is robbed and left with no resources to return home. Taking help from a stranger, Vijay tries to solve his life issues. But not every person who lends you a hand is your friend.
