Manju, a cynical woman with a troubled background with men, meets two very different men: her arrogant boss Thyagu and sensitive filmmaker Arun. Manju recounts her past with Arun while they work together, helping him understand her deeply. Arun falls for Manju, but she seems to be courting Thyagu, disillusioning him. What happens between the three of them and how it all turns out is the plot of 'Aval Appadithan.'
