Shyam (Salman Khan), a handsome, orphaned billionaire comes to India to fulfil the last wish of his late mother, which is to marry a simple and cultured Indian girl and stay connected to his Indian roots. His search leads him to a village where he meets and falls in love with Radha (Sridevi). What he does not know is that Radha is a mere pawn in the hands of a group of people, including his father's killer, who are after his wealth and will do everything in their power to obtain it.
