Vijay encourages his college sweetheart Kalpana to become the student body president, to which she agrees. In no time, Kalpana shoots to fame amongst the students which infuriates her rival, who happens to be the son of an influential politician. He pressurises Kalpana to resign but she refuses. After a few days, Kalpana goes missing and her resignation letter is found which baffles everyone.
