Pipani is a 2012 Marathi black comedy starring Makrand Anaspure, Chandrakant Kulkarni, Ravi Kale, Ramesh Dev and Kranti Redkar. It highlights the plight of the farmer's of Vidharha through the shooting of a Hollywood film in the village. The director of the film engages with different village people, like a widow, whose farmer husband has recently committed suicide. The middlemen is seen cheating the farmers and the affect of un-seasonal rains which drives the farmer's to suicide is portrayed.
